I am using this opportunity to also welcome all of you across the globe to this platform. A platform where we will in a few minutes discuss the theme:  Resilient. Empowered: Her Rights, Her World as part of the broader subject of the 2020 state of world population report which aims at expounding the gender agenda.

Background

In 2019, the Ministry of Communications adopted the Ms. Geek Africa concept and organized the first Ms. Geek Ghana Competition where eligible young ladies submitted concepts aimed at solving everyday community problems through technological innovations in the Ghanaian society.

Minister swears in Hon. Abban onto Board of Data Protection Commission

The Minister for Communications, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful (MP) on Tuesday, 29th April, 2020 swore in the Ministry’s new Deputy Minister, Hon. Alexander Kwadwo Kom Abban as a member of the Board of the Data Protection Commission.

Members of the Board present at the ceremony were Mr. Alex Appawu, Mrs. Justice Helena Inkumsah-Abban and Madam Patricia Adusei Opoku whiles the other members observed the ceremony through Microsoft Teams.
