National Cyber Security Week 2017 “Securing Ghana’s Digital Journey”.

The Cyber Security Week is an annual event which aims to raise awareness of Cyber Crime trends and to highlight the growing importance of cyber security at all levels – people, businesses and government. Cyber Security Week aims to build threat awareness of cyber security and anti-cyber-crime initiatives and to build the capacity of different stakeholders within the cyber security ecosystem.

Entity Tender Committee inaugurated by the Ministry

The Minister for Communications, Hon Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has inaugurated the entity tender committee of the Ministry with a call on members to work strictly within the confines of the public procurement act.
She said this after administering the oath of office and secrecy to the members of the committee at a short ceremony at the Ministry.

Mobile free Roaming for West Africa by 2018

ECOWAS Ministers in charge of Telecommunications and ICT have approved the free regional roaming regulation for ECOWAS Member countries.
The endorsement of the regional roaming regulation came during the 15th Meeting of the concerned Ministers which held on the 6th of October, in Praia Cabo Verde.
