Ghana has been elected to the Executive Committee of the Digital Cooperation Organisation (DCO) for the 2026-2027 term, joining Rwanda, Djibouti, Pakistan, Kuwait, and Morocco on the committee chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The election took place at the 5th General Assembly of the DCO in Kuwait, where Ghana’s delegation, led by Deputy Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu, participated in reviewing the DCO’s 4-Year Agenda (2025-2028) and discussing AI and digital cooperation initiatives.
The committee will oversee DCO’s work plan, guide strategic priorities, and monitor digital initiatives between General Assembly sessions.
