The Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations has presented Laptops to all Regional Ministers and MPs for deployment at constituency-level training centres for the smooth take off of the One Million Coders Programme (OMCP).
The nationwide distribution marks a major milestone as the Ministry finalizes preparations for Phase Two (2) of the flagship digital skills initiative to ensure constituency-level ownership and effective delivery of training.
The programme is set to commence on April 11, 2026 in selected Constituencies across the Country. The programme is aimed at providing digital skills to one million Ghanaian youth.
With all Regional Ministers now equipped to support the rollout of training centres, Phase Two training centres are expected to be operational by the April 11 for the nation wide roll out
