
The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George (MP) yesterday 13th of March 2025 paid a working visit to the National Communications Authority Ghana (NCA), reaffirming the government’s commitment to strengthening the telecommunications sector and consumer protection.

During the visit, he introduced Mrs Etta Mosore as the new Acting Deputy Director-General in charge of Managerial Operations and emphasized the need for a collaborative approach to digital transformation.
Engaging the staff, the Minister revealed that a comprehensive review of the sector regulations was underway of which the Ministry was leading the process.
Welcoming the Minister, the Ag. Director-General for NCA, Rev.Ing. Edmund Fianko affirmed his support for the government’s vision, particularly in resetting the industry’s trajectory towards growth, development and digital innovation.
The Chief Director of the Ministry, Mr. Alexander Yaw Arphul, emphasized the importance of aligning the sector’s priorities with the government’s digital transformation agenda.
The Minister’s engagement with NCA staff marks a significant step in aligning the agency’s objectives with the broader national digital agenda, ensuring that Ghana remains at the forefront of technological advancements in Africa.
